谈任务型教学的课堂设计

一、设疑时段

首先，课堂教学的不同阶段可设置不同的问题。以高一课本下L79 Disabilities为例，可结合现实提出这样的问题：

1．Do you know anything about disabilities？

2．What trouble do they have？

3．How many different types of disability can you think of？

这样，学生带着问题去预习课文，从而对Disabilities有了初步的了解。

其次，阅读中也可提问。阅读中可设置如下问题：

1．What wrong attitudes do some people have towards people with disabilities？

2．What do we have to consider for people with disabilities when we design a building？

3．What has been done for disabled people in China now？

最后，在结束本篇课文的时候，还可设置一些具有归纳总结性质的问题。如：

1．What have you learnt so far in this unit？

2．What could be done in your town／school to make life easier for disabled people？

二、设疑的类型

设疑的类型多种多样。一般可分为：

1．知识性提问

如：教授Martin Luther King,Jr这一课时，可设置这样的问题：Do you know Martin Luther King won Nobel Peace Prize in 1964？

2．交际性提问

这种提问方式帮助学生感知新知，检测学生对已学知识的理解和运用，是交际性操练和运动的一种形式。这种方式的关键是要创设情境，在给定的情境中，交流双方存在信息沟（informationgap）,只有通过Ask and Answer的方式才能获得平衡。

3．换位提问，突出主体

三、设疑的方法

一般可根据不同的教学内容、教学要求、学生的智商水平等多种因素进行多角度、多侧面、多层次、有步骤地提问。提问方法有以下几种：

1．直观式提问 如：教授SB2B L58 Noise In The Night时，可针对插图提出这样的问题：

（1）What is the picture about？

（2）What are there in the picture？

这样通过识图来提高了学生的兴趣，调动了他们积极思考，还可用投影仪、实物及多媒体等形式。

2．启发式提问 新教材的题材多样性、现实性给课堂联系实际提问提供了有利条件。如：教授SB2A L33 Computers一课时，便可联系实际，设计以下问题：

（1）Our company is going to buy some computers, can you give any opinions on which types to buy？PC586 or Pentium II？Why？

（2）Do you have an E－mail box？What do you do with it？

3．按故事情节顺序提问

以SB2B L82 Martin Luther King为例：

（1）When and where was Martin born？

（2）What did he do in his childhood？

（3）What did he do as a young man？

（4）When and where did he receive the Nobel Prize for Peace？

另外，要想使课堂教学收到良好效果，还有许多值得注意的问题，如：学生的层次、教学内容的难易程度、学生的个体差异等。针对不同的情况教师可采用灵活多样的方法。
