  Unit4 Why don’t you talk to your parents?

  SectionB1a-2b

  一、教材分析

  本课是新目标英语八年级下第4单元的第三课时,教材内容围绕针对别人的困境提出解决的办法和建议展开,让学生学会表达自己的观点。本课的教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。在学习活动中运用句型进行交际,培养学生的口语表达能力。并让学生将知识应用到实践中,做到学以致用。

  二、学生分析

  1..学生的英语知识基础:学生通过近一个学期的英语学习,他们已具备了初步的语言表达能力,能用所学的语言知识谈论自己的喜好,所以我在充分了解学生的基础上因材施教,面向全体,分层教学,让每位学生都能有收获,体会成功的喜悦。

  2.学生的思维能力:该年龄段的学生有很强的记忆力和模拟能力,但知识的拓展和运用的能力有待培养。我们教师要充分利用这一点在教学课本知识的同时,教会学生创造性地使用所学知识运用于实践。

  三、教学目标

  1.语言目标:

  1)words and expressions:

  member, pressure, compete, opinion, skill, typical, football, cut out, continue, compare, compare…with, crazy, push, development, cause, usual

  2)sentences:

  ①I think Wei Ming should…

  ②Although you may be…,you should talk to them.

  ③Life shouldn’t justbe about…

  ④Why don’t they just let their kids be kids?

  ⑤Although it’s normal to want successful children, it’s even more important to have happy children.

  2.能力目标:能针对别人的困境提出解决的办法和建议;能正确使用情态动词could,should表达建议或观点

  3.情感目标:培养学生提出问题和解决问题的能力

  四、教学重难点

  1教学重点:

  1)进行听力训练,提高综合听说能力。2)阅读短文,获得相关信息,提高学生们的综合阅读能力和表达能力。

  2.教学难点:

  1)听力训练2)阅读2b部分的短文并完成相关要求。

  五、教学过程

  Step1Warming–upand lead-in

  Listen to a song and ask:Do you like this song? I like listening to the song.It’s a good way to lower the stress.Whenyou are stressed out, how do you lower your stress?(设计意图:利用多媒体图片和音乐,激发学生学习的兴趣,让学生主动参与教学)

  Step2Talking

  Brainstorm: How do you lower your stress?

  Show pictures tostudents.Let the studentsgive some advice.Give a like to the students who answer quickly and correctly.

  Then finish1aand 1b(设计意图:巩固所学的基础知识,让知识再现)

  Step 3Listening

  Wei Ming has some problems, what should he do?

  1) Listen and check the problems Wei Ming talks about.Then check the answers. Finish1c

  2) Listen again and fill in the blanks. Check the answers. Finish 1d

  (设计意图:进行听力训练,提高能力)

  Step 4Reading

  1. Before-reading. Show a picture and ask : What’s wrong with him? Talk about after-school classes.

  2. Middle-reading.

  1) Read the article and answer the questions. Check the answers

  2)Read it again andmatch their opinions

  3.After-reading.Read it again and talk about the three women’s opinions about the problems(设计意图:进行阅读训练,让学生当堂巩固并掌握所学知识,让不同的学生体会成功的喜悦。)

  Step5Writing

  Ask the students to write down their opinions about after-school classes.Then choose some of them to report their opinions.Then, let the rest put the smile card on the blackboard to support their opinions.(设计意图:让学生把所学知识变成语言能力,让不同的学生发表自己的观点。)

  Step6Summary and homework

  Today we talkedabout Wei Ming’s problems and different people’s opinions about after-school classes.

  反思:评价一节课是否为一节好课,最终还是要看教学效果如何。在这节课上,课堂气氛很活跃,特别是最后一个环节全体同学都能参与进来表达自己的观点,使学生能学以致用,就实现了教学目标。
