   Unit5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came?             SectionA 3a---3c教学设计一、学习目标:1.To learn some new words and expressions. storm,area,wood,flashlight,match,beat against,asleep,rise,fallen,apart,fall     asleep,die down.2.To know the order (顺序)of an event.3.To learn how to describe(描述)an event.二、重难点掌握本所涉及的单词、短语和句子。了解3a部分,记叙文的内容。能够用英语描述过去发生的事情。教学过程Step1.ReviewOne minute’s short speech.(2 students show)Review the important words---whenwhile.Review the tense: the Past Continuous Tense; the Past TenseStep2.Show the learning aims.  1.出示学习目标,让学生了解本课重难点,带着务完成本课的学习,使学生最终完成学习务。Learn the new words and phrases.(讲解单词,短语的用法,并拓展知识点。领读,带读,给学生时间掌握)Step3.Lead inT:I have a friend.His name is Ben.last week,he went through a heavy rainstorm.Let’s go with him and feel free the storm.Step4.Look through the whole text,finish the tasks.1.学生自读3a,邀请部分学生回答3a中的两个问题。找出文章事件发生的顺序。A.time  B.place  C.character   找出地点、人物、事件 Step4.Peruse the text1.Find three students in each group to finish reading,translating and explaining the passage.2.Consolidation and extension.一个学生读,一个学生翻译课文,第三个学生讲解课文知识点。教师作补充
