probably副词，意为“也许，大概，可能”，常用作状语。
He probably told his father all about the matter. 他可能把这一切都告诉了他的父亲。
辨析：probably，maybe与perhaps
probably 常用于句中，maybe 相当于perhaps，常用于句首。另外probably比maybe和perhaps 表达的可能性大。
He will probably come tomorrow.他很可能明天来。

During the week, I’ll wear smart clothes.在工作日期间我将穿干练的衣服。
during 介词，意为“在…期间”。

辨析 probably 与 possible
Probably和possible这两个词都有“可能”之意，但它们的用法不尽相同：
〔1〕probably是副词，在句中的位置比较灵活。
·- Can he hear us？
他能听见我们的话吗？
-Probably not. 大概听不见。
〔2〕possible是形容词，所指的可能性较小，为加强语气，可与can或could连用
·It can’t/ couldn’t be possible without you.
这件事没有你恐怕不行。
3.In the future,people will work more so they’ll probably have fewer vacations,but I think I’ll take a holiday in Kong Hong when possible.在将来，人们将会工作更多，因此他们可能将会有更少的假期，但我认为什么时候有可能的话，我将在香港度假。
Holiday可数名词，意为“假日；节日”。take a holiday 意为“度假”
