高二国旗下演讲：So From Now On

合：Good morning ,dear teachers and students.

It is our honour to stand here to deliver a speech to you.

女：As we know ,today the world is becoming smaller and smaller because more and more people can speak English .And today our world is a communicating world .We can see that English is very important . There is no doubt world . We can see than English is very important . There is no doubt that English is one of the world’s most widely used languages . People in many countries always take it as a first or second language . It has become an international language. If we want to do business with foreigners , we have to learn English well . What’s more , today ,we want to read them ,we should know English .

Learning English well ,we can cooperate with countries . We can learn more about foreign advanced technology . We can go to study abroad . We know , if our country wants to develop fast , we must learn from other countries ,especially some western countries in different fields such as education , industry , medicine , science and technology.

On the other hand , we have our own unique culture and customs . They are very valuable . We are a great people . We have our own great history . We Chinese are brave, honest and hard-working . English can help us make foreigners know more about China . We can promote our cultural heritage with the help of English . In this way , we can attract more and more foreigners to visit China . We can make more and more foreigners love China , which will be beneficial to our country’s future . So I can say learning English well is very important .

男：But how to learn English well? First ,I think we have a lot of good teachers. They are kind and experienced . We can get a lot of help from them . We should take their advice on how to learn English well. Second , our success depends on ourselves . We should be confident , and hard-working . We know “practice makes perfect.” We must keep on practicing every spare minute of every day without stop . We should do more excerises in listening ,speaking ,reading and writing . We must repeat the same sentences over and over unitil we can just blurt them our naturally . We must force ourselves to keep practicing , working and striving to improve . There is never a point when you can truly say “I have mastered English .” There is always more to learn and room to improve.

No matter what your study method in English learning is on how smart you may be , you must , persist in your practlce to truly be successful . We should vemember forever ,if we want to learn English well , persistence is always the key to reaching success. We must practice , practice and practice.
