如何记忆英语单词

1. 按发音规则记：首先记清什么是开音节，什么闭音节。相对开音节：单个元音字母后面加单个辅音字母（r除外），再加一个不发音字母e构成的音节（也就是辅音+元音+辅音+不发音的e的结构）；以元音字母结尾（辅音+元音的结构）的重读音节是绝对开音节。反之以辅音字母结尾（r除外）的重读音节是闭音节。元音在开音节单词里面发它字母本身的音，在闭音节单词里面也有它的发音规则。如：name these time go student my / sit dog man bed but.

2. 按字母组合记：在记 all 这个单词时，记住这个单词字母组合 all 发的音。在记 tall ，wall ，small ，ball 等单词时，复习 all ，这样马上就能记住。

3. 相同字母组合的单词放在一起记：如：for ，forty ，horse ，morning ，sport 等都有 or 字母组合，在这些单词中发相同音。在记 now 时，先复习 cow ， how ，掌握字母组合 ow 在这些单词中发相同音。

4. 合成词放在一起记：在记 classroom 之前，先复习 class 和 room ，把这两个单词合在一起就是所要学的新单词。如： class ， room——classroom ； to ， day——today ； home ， work——homework 等。

5. 音同，字不同的单词放在一起记：如：too——two ， there——their ， our——hour ， right——write 等。

6. 容易读错的单词放在一起记：如：horse——house 等。

7. 反义词放在一起记：如：open——close ， long——short 等。

8. 相对的词组放在一起记：如：go to school——go home ， get up——go to bed 等。

9. 介词放在一起记：如：in ， on ， of ， at ， to ， for ， near ， beside ， under ， behind 等。

a). 时间前面用介词 at 。如： at  twelve ， at  ten  fifteen 等。

b). 公共汽车站、火车站前面用介词 at 。如：at the bus stop ， at the railway station 等。

c). 中午，夜晚等前面用介词 at 。如：at noon ， at night ， at home ， at work ， at school ， at the factory ， at the cinema ， at once ， at first ， at last ， at a street corner ， at that time ， at the foot of ， at the end of ， at the doctor's ， at the age of ， at the Children's Palace ， at the gate 等。

d). 早上，下午，晚上，白天，周（星期），月，年，四季（春、夏、秋、冬）等前面用介词 in 。如： in the morning ， in the afternoon ， in the evening ， in a day ， in a week ， in a month ， in a year ， in spring ， in summer ， in autumn ， in winter 等。又如： in the tree ， in the street 。但 road 前面用介词 on 。如： on the road 。

e). 星期几前面用介词 on 。 如：on Sunday ， on Monday——on Saturday 等。

10. 冠词用途记：a ， an 表示数量有 “—” ， an 用在元音前面。 the 是特指或说话人双方都知道。如：a boy ， an apple ， The book is on the desk .等。

11. 人名，地名，国名，周日，专有名词第一字母大写记：如：Mike ， Beijing ， China ， Monday ， Young Pioneer 等。

12. 词性归类记：如：名词，代词，形容词，动词，介词等。如：book ， bike ， these ， they ， yellow ， green ， come ， guess ， in ， behind 等。

13. 单词分类记：如：1) 学习用品： bag ， pencil——box 等。 2) 服装鞋帽： cap ， coat ， shoe 等。 3) 食物： cake ， egg 等。 4) 交通工具： bike ， car ， bus 等。 5) 动物： sheep ， horse ， pig 等。 6) 人物： people ， girl ， student 等。 7) 人体部分： head ， face ， hair ， hand 等。

14. 词性变化记：如：work——worker ， teach——teacher ， drive——driver 等。

15. w ， h 发音记：单词中 w ， h 在一起，一般 w 发音 [w] 。但 h 后面是元音字母 “o” 时， h 发音 [h] 。如： what ， white ， why ， where ； who ， whose 等。

16. 通过句型记：在背句型的过程中，把单词记下。如： How many days are there in a week ？通过背这个句型，记住 week 这个单词。这样句型背会了，单词也记住了。

17. 口语记：俗话说：拳不离手，曲不离口。英语要经常讲，记下的单词和句子，惯用语就不易忘。如：May I come in ？ Yes ， come in. (Come in ， please.) May I close the window ？ Yes ， do (please). How are you ？ I'm all right(fine) ， thank you. Excuse me, may I ask a question ？ Yes. What is it ？等。
